Our year end holiday brunch was such a nice social event.
We had brunch at Marie Callender’s and many people brought a friend or family member for a nice, comfortable, stress free
gathering. The food was good and the conversation lively.For entertainment we had a “white elephant” gift exchange. It was so fun as people could open their gift but then on down the line someone could either choose a new gift or take one away from someone else if they really wanted it! People were shy in the beginning but then things got serious after the gift of a phone that had a ring tone that sounded like a fart! The men seemed to really want that one so it was taken from people the maximum of three times. It was amazing how disappointed someone would get when it was taken. There were many other fun & serious gifts and we all had a good time.
This really is a good time of year to be thankful and pause to reflect on the good friends we have and the true abundance of love we share. Happy Holidays to everyone from HOPE4MS and we will see you next year. We are already lining speakers up so stay tuned. Watch for upcoming information about our January 5, 2008 meeting information.
