This months meeting was a seminar on Sleep & MS by Dr. Brass.
First, we thank the MS Society for bringing Dr. Brass to Redding. The turnout was good, about 25 people. We saw lots of new faces. We learned that sleep is crucial to everybody. It resets all our organs. Dr. Brass spoke of the importance of sleeping in a dark room. What’s interesting about sleeping in a dark room is, if there is any light in the room, we think the sun is up and it’s time to wake up. Dr. Brass explained Sleep Apnea and the importance of being tested. He also mentioned a few pharmaceuticals that could help with sleep. But we all know that those aren’t always the best answer.
