SUMMER HAS ARRIVED!
Ann Johnson from the National MS Society was at our meeting on June 11th complete with lots of information to share with everyone. She spoke one on one with folks to see what individual concerns she may be able to help with.
The MS Society has financial assistance available that is not necessarily income dependent. There is a $500 cap on their end, but they also leverage funds from other resources for bigger projects, such as home modifications or transportation for MS treatments.
This is a valuable resource for anyone needing or wanting a bit of help. Please contact Ann if you are interested in this generous offer.

The summer heat is here so we are considering taking a pause from our usual meeting in July. We would consider, however, getting together for a fun time at All Fired Up a place in Redding where you can paint a ceramic item like a mug, plate, etc and they will finish it with the firing. It would be a casual chance to visit while crafting a keepsake. Let us know if you are interested.
August is time for Kayaking so please rsvp to the e-mails we have sent. This annual event at Whiskeytown Lake is a great event so be sure to register.
