To play on an old saying; A smart man learns from his experiences, a truly wise man learns from the experiences of others.
Well this month we were trying to be TRULY WISE, as we conducted our first round table discussion in a while.
This was good timing for this type of meeting, as we had some new faces at the table, and were able to discuss old and new exacerbations, along with experiences we’ve had with old and new medications. It is always informative, and helpful to hear what other people have found works for them in certain situations, and things they have found that have not been beneficial to them, in dealing with new and old symptoms, and interactions with the doctors treating them.
It was a very active exchange of ideas and information, and was hard to wind it up, and limit ourselves to the two hours. Hopefully for our next round table meeting, we will have even more experiences to share. Meanwhile, if you are interested in a particular subject, feel free to contact us with your ideas.
